The name "Combat Bag" probably dates back to the early years of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces). The newly established armed forces received their initial equipment from the USA, including personal carrying equipment. The corresponding equipment was called the "Combat Field Pack," which roughly translates as "combat field bag."
The small combat bag has loops on the back for attaching it to the belt. Loops or metal rings on the outside allow for the attachment of additional equipment, such as canteens.
The combat bag is closed with generously sized flaps that fasten with buckle straps. Combat bags are usually worn in the center of the back of the belt.
Also ideal for use as a toiletry bag.
